Today´s set of stock images consists of dark brown backgrounds with interesting textures, as usual free download enabled for all of these royalty-free images.
All stock photos offered for download here are original and our own creations, so as a graphic designer you may find the one or the other image you don´t have yet in your texture collection or photo archive.

Today another set of textures in this ongoing series of free stock images for small graphic design projects. Wood textures are always handy, and the following photos of old, weathered wood full of cracks, stains and colorful imperfections hopefully serve the one or the other of your background needs. Just went through the photo archives from one of my last trips to the Swiss alps. Here some free stock images of weathered wood, they may make some useful backgrounds for the one or the other quick design project:

So it has been quiet here for a while; not without reason - I recently acquired Royalty Free Images.net . To jump start that new site, lets apply the same mode as here: I´m posting sets of free royalty-free stock images for download. The first photos are already on there, so have a look when your time allows…
Time for some new photos… I´ve posted rust metal and grunge textures here before, and it seems, they are always well liked.
Download these royalty-free photos for free and use them wherever you want in your designs, but please don´t re-distribute the pictures (RF does not mean copyright-free; you can use the image source links here, though).
A third one like this, if I see a good amount of downloads I´ll provide some more rust and grunge textures the next days.
Visits to old luxury houses on hot summer days can be fruitful from a photographic point of view, and provide some nice additions to a texture library, so here are two royalty-free photos of ornate wallpapers. Layer these vintage damask wallpapers in Photoshop with some of the grunge textures posted here before, and you will get easily some marvelous retro backgrounds for your designs.
I spent a visit to some hidden, abandoned houses the last days, and beside a lung full of fresh air I brought a memory card full of photographs with me, of which I will make the one or the other available here as free royalty-free images, the first set of textures featuring pretty handmade bricks.

The previously posted rust metal backgrounds and grunge textures became quite popular, so assuming that you designers need this sort of stuff, here are some more free royalty-free images of that kind:
A classic, burst rust bubble (my engineer friends get really excited about this sort of damage). These stock photos were not sharpened, so you may want to apply a little bit later in your Photoshop designs.
Download these grunge textures by clicking on the pics here and use them as royalty-free images in your creations but please don´t re-distribute or re-sell the photographs themselves (I want to keep the licensing terms as liberal and simple as possible.)
